Choose a 20-minute guided tour (10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 or 16:00; meet in front of ArtBot 5 minutes before it starts) or a self-guided visit (hourly sessions between 09:30 and 17:30). There is also a 20–30-minute talk on 1F: four sessions a night, each with 25 places, between 19:30 and 21:30 in October and between 18:30 and 20:30 in November and December. The talk is booked through Ticketlink, not on this site or through the museum's Korean booking system; tickets have been on sale since 1 September. If you drive, note that cars cannot leave the car park after 22:00, so please take yours out before 21:50.

Parking is limited: public transport recommended

There is a charge for the car park under the building (KRW 400 per 5 minutes, KRW 28,000 a day) and its 98 spaces are shared with the neighbouring photo museum, so it fills up. We strongly recommend arriving by subway: Line 1 or 4 to Chang-dong Station, Exit 1, then a 5-minute walk.

FAQ

Quick answers for international visitors.

Do I need a reservation to visit?
Only for the Permanent Exhibition on 3F: on weekdays, book a guided tour online here; at weekends there is no advance booking, so register at the kiosk on the day. 1F and 2F are open to everyone without a booking: the Robot & AI Garden and its hands-on experiences on 1F, and RAIM PLAY on 2F. 4F is closed for now while a new special exhibition is being prepared.
I don't have a Korean phone number. How do I book?
That's exactly what this site is for. Book a weekday tour on our booking page with just your name, email and country; on most dates your confirmation email arrives instantly.
I'm visiting at the weekend. How do I book?
At weekends you don't book in advance. Register at the kiosks at the entrance to the Permanent Exhibition on 3F (they have an English option); registration opens 3 hours before each session. Choose a 20-minute guided tour or a self-guided visit; the SPOT and Alice mini talks inside the exhibition are open to everyone who has entered. Full details are under Notices.
Are the tours in English?
Free English docent tours run every Wednesday at 15:40 (Permanent Exhibition). All other sessions are guided in Korean, and an English audio guide (MP3) is available so you can follow along.
Is it really free?
Yes: admission, guided tours and the walk-in experiences are all free of charge.
How long does a visit take?
A guided session runs about 40 minutes on weekdays and 20 minutes at weekends. Including the walk-in areas, allow about 2–3 hours for a relaxed visit.
Can children visit?
Absolutely. The museum welcomes all ages. Children should come with an adult. When you book, the party size includes everyone in your group, adults as well as children.
We are a group of 20 or more. Can we book here?
Group visits (20–60 people) run on weekdays outside the Korean school holidays, start at 10:00 or 14:00 and last about 90 minutes. They are booked separately by email: write to raim@seoulraim.com at least 2 months before your visit date.
What happens if I can't make it?
Please cancel through the My Booking page; it takes a minute. No-shows take up seats that other visitors could have used, and repeated no-shows may lead to future requests being declined.
Is there parking?
There is a paid car park under the building (98 spaces, shared with the neighbouring photo museum): KRW 400 per 5 minutes, KRW 28,000 for a full day. It is often full, so we strongly recommend the subway: Chang-dong Station (Lines 1 and 4), Exit 1, then a 5-minute walk.
